LEAD PASTOR - DAVID RAPP

David Rapp is a native of Denver where he did the first part of growing up before moving to Houston. He and his wife, Jennifer, met while working as mountain guides for Young Life’s Wilderness Ranch in Colorado during summers in college. Since then, their story together has involved God calling them to help start new things in new places. After they graduated from Covenant Seminary (David MDiv ‘03 and Jennifer MATS ‘03), God called them to start a new Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) campus ministry at the University of Oregon. Then, in 2008, God called them to Temple, TX to help start a new church through the Southwest Church Planting Network in the PCA. Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Temple has grown to be a healthy community that celebrates the gospel together and welcomes others in.

After 14 years in Temple, God called the Rapps to Colorado in 2022 to work with Deer Creek Church and the Western Church Planting Network to start a new church in Golden. God has been gathering people eager to be a part of a new church to reach people with the hope of the gospel.

David and Jennifer have three kids: Wyatt and Darby in college and Stella in high school. They both love being outdoors, hiking, road trips, and good coffee. David is always excited to go mountain biking or snowboarding.
